Prior to founding Teragonia, Thomas worked at Houlihan Lokey for five years where he established two successful and fast-growing practices from the ground up, including a traditional financial due diligence practice as well as a sophisticated data science practice. At Houlihan Lokey, he led the design and development of a fit-for-purpose, cutting-edge, and highly secure data science technology platform capable of hosting thousands of users and supporting several hundred clients. Leveraging the platform, he innovated several scalable and quickly deployable analytics applications creating significant value for the financial sponsor clients. Examples include various analytics and data science applications for deal sourcing, greenfield growth strategy, price optimization, salesforce effectiveness, customer retention, workforce rationalization, and location performance optimization.
Prior to Houlihan Lokey, Thomas spent more than a decade at Ernst & Young working in the Assurance, M&A Diligence and Strategy Consulting practices across the Atlantic.

A seasoned technologist and proven innovator, Weimen leverages his broad and deep expertise in data science, deep learning, software development, cybersecurity, information technology systems, and automation engineering to build the technology infrastructure and scalable applications that solve complex business problems quickly.
In his previous role as an Enterprise Architect at Houlihan Lokey, Weimen engineered a fit-for-purpose, cutting-edge, and highly secure data science technology platform capable of hosting thousands of users and supporting several hundred clients. He coordinated extensively with the CIO’s office and the engineering teams of multiple technology majors and brought the platform online within nine months from conception; a significant accomplishment given this was the first major foray into a cloud-hosted platform for a global public investment bank with a multi billion-dollar market capitalization.
Prior to Houlihan Lokey, Weimen was a Research Engineer at ExxonMobil. As an accomplished machine learning engineer and technology leader, he spearheaded a research project to utilize computer vision methods in achieving closed-loop control of manufacturing processes while working closely with innovators in ExxonMobil’s IT organization to productionize the model in downstream operating plants. His work there led to U.S. Patent No. 17/126151, “SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF MONITORING AND CONTROLLING AN INDUSTRIAL PROCESS”.

An accomplished applied mathematician with a deep expertise in quantitative machine learning, statistics, and optimization techniques, Dr. Mali is the Chief Data Scientist of Teragonia, where he leads a team of data scientists and operations researchers. Prior to Teragonia, he was a Senior Staff Data Scientist and Vice President at Houlihan Lokey.
Dr. Mali holds a PhD in Operations Research from Columbia University, New York where he was affiliated with the Data Science Institute. His research expertise spanned a variety of large-scale real-world business problems. With GE Research, he developed novel algorithms for recovering from airline disruptions at the scale of an entire flight network for major global airlines. In collaboration with the NYC Mayor’s Office of the CTO, he developed models for managing elevator queues efficiently in high-rise buildings, based on data from NYC government’s largest office building. He has solved problems on large portfolio optimization with multidimensional constraints with Barclays.
Dr. Mali also completed an integrated Bachelors and Masters in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras, the #1 Engineering school in India, and a Masters in Optimization from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
Saheb enjoys partnering with exceptional management teams to grow new and existing ventures, supporting them with hands-on business development, operational excellence and key talent acquisition. He has launched 4 start-ups till date that are doing $500M in combined revenue today and has also worked on 50+ M&A / VC transactions in his career. Saheb has previously been featured by Techstars as a Need-to-Know Investor and recognized by Forbes Magazine in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
Currently Saheb is Co-founder of Cart.com, an ecommerce start-up that achieved unicorn status within three years. He is leading the largest BU at Cart.com, with more than 1,000 colleagues as well as strategic client accounts and pursuits. He also led the inorganic growth strategy and integrations at Cart, sourcing and executing on $200M+ investments.
Prior to Cart.com, Saheb was a Managing Director in the investment team of CSL, a $2B AUM fund. At CSL, he developed the strategy and growth of their Services and Technology portfolio, ranging from $1M to $1.4B investments. The portfolio included venture capital, building new businesses from ground-up, strategic minority investments, buy-outs, joint ventures, and SPACs / pre-IPO readiness and taking companies public.
Prior to CSL, Saheb worked at McKinsey & Company where he advised Fortune 500 companies on Operations, Strategy and M&A integration efforts for several transformational multibillion dollar transactions.

Kyle is a seasoned business intelligence leader, with a well-rounded and extensive experience as an M&A advisor and Data Analytics expert at a global consulting firm, and as an investor and operator at a private equity firm.
Before joining Teragonia, Kyle was an integral part of EY’s Strategy and Transactions – Data and Analytics practice leadership for five years. In this capacity, he led the practice’s strategic transition to cloud infrastructure to significantly amplify the speed of delivery and depth of insights using advanced data analytics techniques. He has advised several leading PE and strategic investors on more than 80 buy and sell side M&A transactions with deal values ranging from $10 million to $52 billion, as well as numerous value creation initiatives.
Prior to joining EY’s Data and Analytics group Kyle worked at Lake Capital as an investor and operator. As a key member of Lake Capital’s investment team, Kyle has sourced and executed M&A transactions, and led portfolio company value creation initiatives and exit preparation. He also functioned as an operator at one of Lake Capital’s significant portfolio investments, where he led the finance function, operational transformation initiatives across multiple verticals, and integration efforts for several add-on acquisitions.
Kyle started his career at Ernst & Young’s Assurance practice and transitioned to the M&A Due Diligence practice, before joining Lake Capital.
Suhel is a seasoned advanced analytics engineer and operations leader, with 7 years of experience across Engineering and PE Operations. He brings substantial experience operationalizing analytics initiatives from his career at Blackstone as well as a deep technical experience working with the industry’s cutting edge analytics technologies to architect and engineer data science products.
Before joining Teragonia, Suhel independently consulted middle market PE firms, with a focus on developing self-serve technologies to rapidly identify value creation opportunities. He developed a technology for building semantic layers that leverages the industry leading open source tools to achieve a 5-10x improvement in iteration pace when designing analytics products in a foreign tech stack.
At Blackstone, Suhel was the founding member of the data science rotational program, where he led analytics teams at two portfolio companies, resulting in a doubling of the size of his teams and the overall program. Suhel designed and led a mix of transformation projects where he identified opportunities that led to the creation of new business lines and product initiatives. At Blackstone’s NY office, Suhel built Blackstone’s core diligence tools that continue to be used on a per-deal basis.
Prior to Blackstone, Suhel worked at EY Parthenon as a commercial diligence associate and as a data science lead, with experience on over 15+ transactions.

Kevin has led numerous projects for sizable enterprises in a variety of sectors including venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, fintech, and pharmaceutical industry.
Prior to Aimpoint, Kevin led various end-to-end Data Science and analytic projects at Zurich North America. He worked closely with business stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable analytical solutions, including various cutting edge Machine Learning models for risk management and price optimization.
Before joining Zurich, Kevin worked for CME Group, Mizuho Securities, Mirae Asset Daewoo and Hillsun Group.
Liza is an accomplished data scientist and seasoned finance professional with 7 years of experience in game-changing analytics strategies across leading-edge tech startups and global financial institutions. She has held leadership positions in both the wealth management and product spaces, including heading up a marketing decision analytics team at Morgan Stanley and leading a client services team at Markov Processes International.
At Morgan Stanley, Liza’s responsibilities centered around leading the marketing decision analytics team to foster customer engagement and asset growth for the Digital Direct and Stock Plan businesses. She worked closely with business stakeholders to consistently pinpoint profitable paths to incremental revenue and user growth using data modelling techniques.
As the Client Services Team Lead at Markov Processes International, she applied mathematical finance and sector expertise to drive clients’ investing strategies through a suite of specialist quantitative tools.
